In the heart of the Český les (Bohemian Forest) Protected Landscape Area, in a countryside still untouched by tourism, stands the newly built Resort Český les. Surrounded by woodland and pristine nature in the village of Železná, this hotel resort will win you over from the very first moment – and it will be hard to say goodbye when the time comes. Every corner of this varied landscape breathes history, and that is exactly what inspired us to bring our guests to this beautiful place.
The resort comprises two newly renovated buildings, home to Aparthotel Železná and Boutique Apartments Železná.
For now, the four-star hotel resort offers accommodation in three room categories, 43 rooms in total. On top of that come 9 one-of-a-kind apartments at Boutique Apartments Železná. All rooms and studios are furnished in a minimalist spirit, with wood and its scent playing the leading role.
Besides its welcoming designer rooms, Resort Český les also offers guests a wellness zone where they can relax in the steam or Finnish sauna, get their circulation going on the Kneipp walking path, or enjoy the beneficial effects of a salt wall.
The leading role in the new HVOZD restaurant belongs to Czech and international specialities made largely from local ingredients, following a seasonal à la carte menu. Your unforgettable culinary experience is in the hands of our head chef, who honed his craft in first-class establishments in Prague. The design-led restaurant is complemented by a terrace with outdoor seating around an OFYR grill and a bar overlooking the Park of Reconciliation. Lovers of original drinks are well looked after too and will happily settle into the Kotelna bar, which owes its ingenious design to the former boiler room it occupies. Our bartenders will gladly mix your favourite drink.
Companies and larger groups will find multifunctional spaces that adapt to all kinds of events: conferences, team building, sports training camps, family celebrations, yoga classes, weddings... all this and much more can be hosted here.
You certainly won't be bored beyond the resort either. Set out to explore the untouched countryside on one of the many walking or cycling routes. Start in the nearby Srdíčko game park, walk or ride up Velký Zvon, or venture a little further to the swimming lake in Waidhaus. The options are endless.
