Wellness & relaxation

Turn down the world, tune in to yourself

WELLNESS

Step into a place where time slows down. Our wellness zone is designed as a refuge from the rush of everyday life – a space where distinctive design and modern care meet the wild, mysterious nature of Český les. We have created a place for mindful rest, for recharging, for informal networking, romantic weekends or quiet recovery after a demanding day.

FINNISH SAUNA

Intense cleansing for body and mind

Sauna bathing is a traditional form of relaxation originating in Finland, known for its dry, intense heat. Humidity stays at just 5–15 %, while the temperature can reach up to 100 °C. It brings a range of health benefits: it improves circulation, supports the body's natural detoxification, releases muscle tension and helps to reduce stress.

A typical sauna cycle means a few minutes in the sauna followed by a cool-down in cold water in the fresh air. Ideally, repeat the process at least three times.

BIO SAUNA

A gentle touch with the scent of aromatherapy

The bio sauna is a gentler version of the traditional Finnish sauna, offering a milder temperature and higher humidity. That makes it well suited to guests with a sensitive circulatory system, to beginners and to children. It can be seen as a compromise between the classic dry Finnish sauna and a steam bath. The bio sauna runs at a lower temperature, usually between 45–60 °C, while humidity is higher, around 40–55 %. Thanks to the added aromatic essences, it combines sauna and aromatherapy in one.

STEAM SAUNA

Soothing care for the airways

The steam sauna, once known as the steam bath, is a type of sauna that works with high humidity and a lower temperature. It is the oldest form of sauna bathing and relaxation, and it reached Europe from Asia. A steam sauna usually runs between 40–50 °C and the humidity reaches up to 100 %, which makes the heat feel more intense. Thanks to that higher humidity, the steam sauna is also ideal for anyone with respiratory problems.

INFRARED BENCHES

Deep relief without high temperatures

The infrared benches are fitted with broad-spectrum emitters that produce a range of wavelengths, warming not only the skin but the tissue beneath it. The radiant heat has a therapeutic effect: it helps release muscle tension, improve circulation and ease joint pain. It also supports the body's detoxification and overall well-being. The benches are a good choice for anyone who does not tolerate high temperatures and conventional sauna sessions well.

KNEIPP WALK

Water therapy to get the circulation going

The Kneipp walk, named after the German priest and healer Sebastian Kneipp, is a health and wellness treatment in which you walk alternately through warm and cold water. The method was developed in the 19th century and forms part of hydrotherapy. It helps strengthen the immune system, improve blood circulation, relieve joint and muscle pain and reduce stress.

During the treatment we recommend stepping slowly from one foot to the other for approximately 1 minute (the exact time is individual and depends on how you feel). Then repeat the same movement for a comparable time in the adjacent pool, again moving freely for the time given.

PLUNGE POOL, ICE BUCKET AND EXPERIENCE SHOWERS

An icy refresh to round the ritual off perfectly

To cool down after your sauna session you can use the plunge pool, the bucket of ice water and the additional experience showers. The right way to cool down differs for everyone, so we recommend using the plunge pools with care. Cold makes the blood vessels contract and returns circulation to a stable state. Together with the sauna, it contributes to the overall regeneration of the body.

MASSAGES
