Wondering whether you can bring your dog? Where to head for a day out nearby? And what you will find at our place? We have put together a Q&A – an overview of the questions our guests ask most often. Clear, concise and with a light touch. Take a look at the answers and find out everything you can experience at Resort Český les.
1. Are we dog friendly?
Yes, we are! Your four-legged companions are warmly welcome here. Our boutique apartments are fully equipped for them too: in every room you will find a memory-foam dog bed, orthopaedic bowls, a welcome pack, a paw towel and a blanket, so your dog feels at home as well. A holiday with us is an experience for every member of the family, including the furry ones.
2. Where to go on a trip near the resort?
Around Resort Český les you will find countless routes and places worth discovering, whether you are on a bike, on foot or with your dog. We have picked out the closest and at the same time most interesting tips for you:
Obora Srdíčko (game preserve) – just a few minutes from the resort, a beautiful forest walk among fallow deer and red deer. Ideal for a quiet afternoon with the family and the dog.
Pleš – a picturesque abandoned village with a mysterious atmosphere. Along the way you can enjoy a wonderful view and quiet countryside without the crowds.
Wildpark Eslarn (Germany) – a nature park full of deer, ibex and wild boar. A great day-trip tip for children and adults alike – just a 10-minute drive from us.
Ebene lookout tower – a small wooden tower close to the border, offering a beautiful view over the landscape of Český les (the Bohemian Forest). The climb is easy and well worth it!
3. Do you have a wellness area, and is it included in the price of the stay?
Yes! Our wellness zone is part of every stay – there is nothing extra to pay. A Finnish sauna awaits you, along with a relaxation area overlooking the countryside and a calm space where you can truly unwind. We don't have a whirlpool, but that only leaves more room to enjoy the silence, the warmth and the scent of wood.
4. Do the apartments have a kitchenette?
Yes! You will find a kitchenette not only in our boutique apartments, but also in the Comfort, Master and Master Plus studios. All of these accommodation types come with a fridge, a microwave, a coffee machine and basic tableware. The Master and Master Plus studios have a hob as well.
5. What about parking?
Parking is free of charge and located right by the resort and the apartments. There is no hunting for a space – you can leave your car comfortably and safely.
6. Is there a restaurant nearby?
Yes, our Hvozd restaurant is right at the resort, serving seasonal specialities and speciality coffee. We cook with local ingredients and cater for vegetarians and gluten-free diets too.
7. What are the check-in and check-out times?
Standard check-in is from 3:00 p.m. and check-out until 11:00 a.m. Need a different time? Just get in touch – we will gladly arrange something to suit your plans and availability.
8. How far is the nearest shop?
The nearest shop is in the village of Bělá nad Radbůzou (about a 7-minute drive). And if you have forgotten something, we are happy to help: at reception we keep small essentials such as toothbrushes, dog treats or rain ponchos.
9. Are dogs allowed in the restaurant?
Dogs cannot come inside the restaurant, but they are very welcome on our outdoor terrace. It is not covered, yet it offers a lovely view of the adjoining park and, towards evening, of the sunset – the perfect spot for a summer evening with a glass of wine (and a dog at your feet). And of course we will gladly bring water for our furry guests.
