From April, the meditative calm of the forests of the Chodsko borderland can be enjoyed in elegant hotel surroundings, in the company of chef Martin Šiling's creations and with an excellent drink in hand. In Železná near Smolov, in the heart of the Český les (Bohemian Forest) Protected Landscape Area, an ambitious new wellness hotel is opening: Resort Český les. Its spacious boutique studios are done in the minimalist design of the Konceptual studio and are complemented by the gourmet restaurant Hvozd, which draws above all on local sources, the stylish Kotelna bar and a wellness area with sauna, steam room, salt wall and sophisticated massage therapies. The surroundings then offer countless hiking routes and 270 kilometres of cycle trails. The resort has its own game park with red deer, fallow deer and mouflon.
